This app is one of the few apps that is a must for my iPhone. I use it daily and love I can track movies in all the different ways there are!

This has to be the best app to connect to trakt.tv, great options for customization, looks amazing, it would be good if they could integrate tv shows, or even a separate app,

Needs more features but most of the needed ones are planned for future updates. App looks really neat. No other developer takes feedback as seriously as they have with mine.

The best app ever.

Useful, Simple, beautiful. This is an app for people who love journals. i dont think anyone would be interested in the movies i watched except for the closest person to me. & for the social side: facebook did a better job implementing this to their "users profiles", the only problem with it is, the searching engine (pages system) & duplicates. i wish to see this app on a facebook-kind-of-profile, for its •great stores searching engine (even if it was a bit slow), • & how easy & simple it is to bring you the information, & trailers, & the tap-to-buy feature. Thanks for the good work! now when i feel lonely & thinking about life i can always look at the movies i spent my hours on.

Its been too long for no feature expansion. The app is unquestionably beautiful, far superior UX design than any of its competitors, but it needs some of updates the "list" states they are "working on." Update: still committed to this app, but the update brought virtually nothing noticeable to the table and it is much buggier now (after 3 days, there are still movies unloaded in my collection). So many cool features are "in the works" — when?

After the update the app has been more reliable, it doesnt crash anymore, the search of movies has improved tremendously, the app is much faster, like the trending movies during search, I love that I can watch the trailer and have an option to rent or buy from iTunes...Some of the movie covers are blank but Im sure it will be fixed on future updates. Very happy on the updated and excited for future features.

If this app could load as fast as IMDb then it would definitely be one of my top five apps. The fact that is takes forever to load at times is really annoying! :/

Extremely useful and attractive looking app. My only issue with it is slow loading of movies searched. I have a reasonably decent cable internet connection, so that shouldnt be the issue. Also when you get the search results, often the most likely movie is usually not the first movie listed, and I often have to scroll down to find it. Despite the performance issues, I think I will invest the time to use this app, as my database for movies in my collection.

Cons: - Search is slow and often gives errors or times out. - Cover art is extremely slow to load and sometimes just doesnt. I expect theyll get the bugs worked out soon. Pros: - Organization. I love to organize, and I love this app! I finally have my wish list, inventory of what I own, what Ive seen, and what I want to see all in one place! - Keeps a running tally for each list of movies so you can see how many you own, want, etc. - The slide/swipe methods to add a movie to a particular group make it really easy. - Gorgeous UI. - Syncs with Trakt. (Way to be on top of the new Trakt API. Temporarily not having that feature in my TV app is killing me. Good job, Movist!)

You need to make a TV show list app just like this one and it would be awesome!!!!! Hope you do it!

Simply, the best movie list app

You spend so much time entering your collection then it all disappears when you sync it.

The database is back to being slow, slow, slow. It takes so long to search for a movie it makes this app pointless. Beautiful but irrelevant.

Good app to keep track of movies you own!

I love the 4 categories! -Seen -Want to see -Wish list -Own The layout is clean and appealing. A must have for every movie enthusiast!!

I love this app and the developers intelligence and kindness. I usually dont write reviews for apps. But this one deserve it and I didnt write this because a pop up came in the app. I wrote this because I love this app. By the way, there is no annoying pop ups in this app that asked me to write this review. Also Edge of Tomorrow is the best movie EVER!

All the bugs and lag seem to be gone. Also new features like Discovery is really great.

The developer is onto something here. The new discovery feature, although not perfected to its full potential, is a killer. The app is constantly updated and deserves praise. Keep up the good work and the improvements.

I use this app to check-in and rate the movies Ive watched. It keeps in sync with the trakt.tv servers very well and Ive had almost no issues using the app. Its also been great way to keep an active watchlist for movies that I want to see at the theater, Netflix or my home media server running Plex. Movists interface is easy to understand and manipulate. I love the feature of swiping down while you have a movie selected to see related movies or to get more information on cast and crew. I really love the way Movist displays my entire library and watchlist using movie poster art. The wish list feature is somewhat useful. The only feature that I dont find myself using too often is the Discover feature, but its still fun to occasionally use. Ive tried a lot of apps for syncing to my trakt.tv account, and Movist is easily the best app for syncing, rating, and keeping track of every movie Ive watched, collected and/or rated on trakt. I can only hope that LINITIX makes an app like this Movist for TV show tracking! I would definitely pay for a separate app that could be as simple to use whilst being as robust as Movist has been.
